Five Ways to Maximize Your Event Branding

With all of the time that you spend creating a strong brand for your company or organization, you don't want to miss an opportunity to leverage your brand identity and spread your message. Events often provide the perfect platform for driving that message home both verbally and visually! Here are a few ways that you can infuse your team's mission statement into your next event.

#1: Custom Panel Decor

One way to bring your logo to life is with our custom laser-cut modular panels. Available in multiple sizes, these panels take light beautifully and can be combined with our translucent acrylic panels to create a sleek backdrop for your event!

#2: Custom Gobos

Another way to show off your logo is with custom gobos! Gobos allow us to blast your logo onto virtually any surface, making them a fun addition to a party-type atmosphere. (Photo by Amanda Maglione)

#3: Projection

Projection allows us to transform surfaces to your benefit, making your branding feel less like a set piece and more like an integral part of the space! Whether projecting onto the walls of the Jefferson Theater or on a spandex tent divider, this is an elegant way to incorporate your brand identity into an environment. (Top photo by Tom Daly)

#4: Marquee Letters

Transformation Tuesday: Keswick Hall

Greetings from The AV Company!

Welcome to our eighth installment in our Transformation Tuesday series! This month, we'd like to take a look at a specific venue that we work with frequently and that has been the setting of several beautiful weddings we've recently helped to produce. Keswick Hall is an impressive 48-room mansion set within a 600 acre property here in Charlottesville. This gorgeous estate, originally built in 1912, is a fantastic venue for events ranging from weddings, corporate gatherings, retreats, et cetera.

Take a look at how we've recently transformed some of Keswick's event spaces using bistro lights, colorful interior uplighting, and fun custom gobos!

October Update: Fabric and Projection

Greetings from The AV Company!

We are in full swing this season with lots of fantastic events coming up! As we continue to challenge ourselves to provide innovative solutions for our clients, we find ourselves focusing on how to use our tools in new ways to produce interesting and exciting environments. One such tool that we often make use of is fabric. As a relatively simple element, fabric's uses are often underestimated. But when combined with lighting or projection content, it can often lend transformative properties to an event space.

For the wedding reception below, we used sheer fabric panels overhead to bring in the scale of the space, and projected organic patterns of light onto them to enhance the overall aesthetic of the room. We also created a subtly whimsical effect by layering sheer drape and twinkle lights, resulting in a cohesively charming setting. (Photos by Allegra's Studio

For another event we used draped panels of fabric as room dividers to define lounge spaces, but also as backdrops for video content to be projected upon. The sheer fabric provided a lively, playful alternative to standard opaque screens! (Photos by Will Kerner)
