Transformation Tuesday: Jefferson Theater

Welcome to our fourth installment in our Transformation Tuesday series! This week we'll be looking at a space with loads of Charlottesville character, the Jefferson Theater. The theater was established in 1912 as a live performance theater that hosted silent movies, vaudeville acts, and a historic list of performers. Though frequently used for concerts today, this theater has the potential to be transformed into the perfect venue for many types of events!

Take a look at how we were able to transform the space for a gala a couple of years ago. With the help of some projected film stills and patterns and some fun, energetic lighting, the Jefferson becomes a fantastic setting for the Virginia Film Festival's opening night festivities!

Welcome to our Transformation Tuesday series, where once a month we'll be looking back at events that allowed us to reshape environments using technology, light, and decor!

This is our 10th year working with the Virginia Film Festival and we are so excited to be part of it again! As we begin to plan for this year's festival taking place in November, we thought we would take a look back at some of last year's festivities!

Last year the Virginia Film Festival hosted their Late Night Wrap Party at the Main Street Arena, a local skating rink. We had a great time working on this event, and are looking forward to the festival this fall!
